Bad Facelifts: Reasons Why Surgery
May Not Be For You
For every good facelift that
occurs, there is one that does not have such pleasant results. Medical
science is advancing on a daily basis, and many facelifts can be done
that improve someone’s appearance or help them recover from facially
scarring accidents. But with facial plastic surgery, there are always
risks that something will go wrong and the patient will end up looking
unpleasant. Here are some of the main things that go wrong during
facelift surgeries. After reading them, you may not be as inclined to
go in for facial surgery!

One of the most prominent problems with
facelifts is that if scarring.
Since huge slits are being made in the face and neck, it is vital that
the surgeon be able to stitch them back up without making severe
scarring. But sometimes even the most delicate stitching job doesn’t
work, and the patient ends up with huge amounts of red scar tissue all
over his or her face. These are the cases that you hear about a lot,
when someone wanted to restore his youthful appearance but ended up
looking like something from a cheap horror movie instead.
On the less overt side of the spectrum, you see facelifts that make
people look simply strange. Perhaps the surgeon stretched the face skin
too tight. The person now looks like they are constantly surprised, or
that they are incapable of displaying any emotion. These could be even
worse than the facelifts that cause bad scarring, simply because of the
creepy expressions that they cause. These strange facelifts usually go
away after a while as the skin stretches out to fit its new form.
If you want to avoid these problems, you
should be very careful when
getting a facelift surgery. First of all be sure that you want to do
it, and that you think it is necessary for your own happiness. Next, be
sure that the surgeon is someone that you can trust. If your surgeon is
renowned for his good surgery, you will be much more confident than if
you just found a plastic surgery clinic in the middle of nowhere. As
long as you take the process slowly, you will have a great time and
hopefully won’t undergo any nasty unforeseen results.
